Melinda Marie Lydic

Melinda Lydic, age 48, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023, at her home. She was born the daughter of Jerry and Sherry on July 18, 1974, in Des Moines, Iowa.

She enjoyed art and calligraphy. She had a passion for nursing and a nurturing smile. Although she loved to cook she only mastered a few dishes. She loved the water and enjoyed boating. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
Melinda is lovingly survived by her sons, Austin (Bryanna) Lydic and Connor Lydic; sisters, Brandy (Greg) Nystrom, Ginny (Brian) Ward, and Kelley (Clayton) Cooper; and her nieces and nephews, Ashley Vos, Haley Nystrom, Riley Nystrom, Jacob Ward, and Isabelle Ward.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Sherry Lydic; and grandparents, Darlene and Merrill Morris.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday January 20, 2023 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
