Randy Robasse

Randall Monroe Robasse, 78, passed away on January 5, 2023 at his home. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa on January 13, 1944, son of Henry and Freeda (Osbourn) Robasse.

Randy enjoyed collecting cars and going to car shows. His yard was always kept to perfection, he loved to garden and flowers were a must. Randy was a handyman and loved to “tinker”. He started his career at Iowa Pie and retired in 2002 from the Des Moines Public Library in the maintenance department. Randy served 2 years in the Army.

Randy is survived by his wife, Ruth Robasse; children, Brian (Amy) Robasse and Shelley (Matt) Verwers; grandchildren, Troy, Mark and Abby. He is preceded in death by his parents, Freeda and Henry Robasse and sister and brother in law, Jeanne (Bill) Nuzum.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 -11:00 a.m., on Wednesday January, 18, 2023 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at 12:30 p.m., Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel, Iowa
