John Beno, 64, passed away December 28, 2022 at his home.

John was born March 15, 1958 in Gary, Indiana to his parents John and MaryAnn (Demo) Beno. John Beno was a graduate of Culinary Institute of America. John worked in the food service industry and sales. He later graduated from Des Moines Area Community College in pursuit of a second career, which was sidelined by his battle with Parkinson’s Disease. His pride were his daughters Katie and Lisa, and his joy was his 5 grandchildren. He loved all things classic rock, European soccer (especially Manchester United), and the Cubs. He will be forever missed.

John is survived by his loving daughter, Lisa Albright; son in law Konrad Albright. Daughter Kathrine Beno-Valencia son in law Amilcar Valencia Grandchildren Maddie Albright, Emma Albright, Ella Albright, Oscar Valencia-Beno Violeta Valencia-Beno.

He was preceded in death by his parents; John “Jack” Beno and Maryanne Beno

Family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
