Marcela Jean Webb

Our sweet sister, Marcela Jean Webb, lost her short battle with cancer Tuesday, December 20, 2022. She was born in Boone, Iowa on September 25, 1951, to Joseph and Patti Webb.

Marcela faced many challenges in her 71 years of life. She lived happily in her group home. Marcela loved her family, her friends, baby dolls, coloring, M & M’s and tootsie rolls.

Marcela is survived by her brothers, Michael (Janet) Webb and Lawrence (Joanne) Webb; uncle, Ron (Shirley) Webb; step-father, Gene Glentzer; step-sisters, Gale Charlotte (Karen Adams) and Kila (Tom) Christensen; numerous nieces and nephews; other loving relatives and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lois Webb and Patti Glentzer; brother, Daniel Webb; step-brother, Kelly Gillaspy; and many aunts and uncles.

Services will be held at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., in Des Moines on Friday, December 30, 2022. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. with the service to follow at 2 p.m. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
