Ellen Conner

Ellen Lyn (Terrell) Conner died Saturday, December 17th at Mercy One Des Moines Medical Center after a prolonged illness.

Ellen was born on December 19, 1948 in Des Moines, Iowa to John and Marjorie Terrell. She attended Willard Elementary School, Woodrow Wilson Junior High, and was a member of the 1967 graduating class of East High School. She has been retired for a number of years, most recently employed by Right At Home. She married Tom Conner on September 19, 2012. Family was Ellen’s pride and joy, especially spending time with her grandchildren and grandpuppies. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

Ellen is survived by her husband Tom, son Lucas (Anjelica) Hayworth of Moravia, IA, and step-daughter Amber Aschan of Des Moines, IA, grandsons Charlie and Carter Hayworth and Jordan and Noah Aschan. She is also survived by three sisters Dorothy Cowlen, Maureen Nalevanko, and Linda (Smiley) Klostermann.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Arnold Terrell, brothers-in-law Dan Cowlen and Francis Nalevanko, and sister-in-law Patricia Terrell.
