John Meadows

John Meadows, 84, passed away December 10, 2022 at Taylor House Hospice.

John was born July 30, 1938 in Des Moines to Albert and Charlotte (Avery) Meadows. He owned and operated his own painting business. John enjoyed carpentry.

John was loved by all. Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Jeff Meadows and Brad Meadows; daughter, Lisa Meadows; grandchildren, Ariella (Andy) Meisner, Abigail (Eric) Kennidy, Ladd and Stone; great-grandchildren, Lillia and Royal Meisner, Ivy, Asa and Lark Kennidy; sibling, Patricia Gross and Joyce Jack; and a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Myrna Meadows; and his siblings, Jack, Albert, Richard, Sally and Norma.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Avon Cemetery.
