Carl Fred Woolsey, age 59, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022.
Carl was born July 15, 1963, in Des Moines, Iowa to John and Janet (Erickson) Woolsey. He was a sales manager for Staples Office Supplies.
He enjoyed growing roses, computers, and his pets.
He is survived by his nephew, John Woolsey (fiancé, Jennifer Lucas); nephews, Eric, William (Rhena), Joe (Katie), and Matthew; nieces, Elizabeth and Christina; and his special friend, Connie Warner.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, John and Janet Woolsey; and two brothers.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family.

So sorry to hear of Carls passing he was a long time friend of my younger brother Scotty Phillips until my brothers passing, Carl was always a great guy and I have nothing but fond memories of him , sending my condolences to his family and friends.

Condolences to Carl's family. He was one of the nicest people I have ever known. He always had a beautiful smile and a kind word for everyone, this world needs more great people like Carl. He will be remembered in our family for many years to come with fond memories.
