Rea Fuller

Rea Iris Fuller (Barnes), 76, passed away on December 3, 2022. She was born February 15, 1946, to Leo and Velma Barnes.
Rea graduated from Marathon High School in 1964, and worked at AE Dairy in Des Moines. She loved all card games especially Canasta. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Rea is survived by her children, Eddie Fuller, Tammy Fuller Worthington, and Tony Fuller; her brothers, Leo and Rex Barnes; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rea was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Fuller; her son, John “Curtis” Fuller; her brothers, Joe, Ray and Fay Barnes.
Services will be at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW, in Altoona. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., on Thursday, December 8, 2022 with a 12 p.m. service on Friday, December 9, 2022. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Im so sorry for your loss, my love and sympathy go out to you all in this tough time. Rea always made me laugh and smile with her witty humor. She always welcomed me and my kiddos with kindness. I will definitely miss her smile and hugs.

We are so sorry for the loss of your loving mother and grandma. She was so proud of each and every one of you, and you all were so important to her. She was well loved in our neighborhood . We have lived across the street from her for over 45 years and she was the best neighbor and friend, and she will be truly missed.
