William Emmett Stark, age 61, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022.
Bill was born January 1, 1961 to William Emmett Green, Sr. and Velva Gloria Stark. He was a lifelong resident of the Des Moines area. Bill worked in commercial construction as a painter during his working years. He was a member of Painters’ Union IUPAT and the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder-Day Saints. Bill enjoyed fishing, riding Harleys, and socializing with friends and family. He loved to travel and would go on a trip at the drop of a hat. He spent time throughout the United States. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother.
He is survived by his sons, Steve (Heather) Green, Joshua Green, and Tony Stark; nine grandchildren; and his brothers, Daniel Green and Jerald Green.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William Green and Velva Stark; and his daughter, Jessica Hiskey.
There will be no services held at this time.

Baby I love you and miss you so much it is hard for me but I got this because you thought me to be strong and to be independent on no one. You also thought me how to deal with pain. I will miss all the laughs and joking you did. I will also miss the joke of you calling me lefty. Rest In Peace until we meet again.

I have known y'all's family a very long time. I was 9 yrs.old when I met most of the family.RIP Bill! Give your momma a big hug for me and Teresa too.I will miss your joking around and laughter most of all.Your brothers as well as countless other family and friends will miss you dearly! Y'all have been like a 2nd family to me. Until we meet again!
