Ronnie Dale King, 64, was born October 18, 1958 in San Diego, California. He passed away peacefully Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Hawthorne Crossing in Bondurant, Iowa.
Ronnie graduated from Southeast Polk High School in 1977 and then attended DMACC for Horticulture. Ronnie was united in marriage to Patricia Hall at Hope Lutheran Church on December 17, 1977 in Des Moines, Iowa. There was one child born to this union, Zachary Ryan King. The couple later divorced.
Ronnie worked for Firestone for 20 years. He was a member of Bondurant Christian Church. Ronnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, music and German Shorthaired Pointers. He loved being outdoors, especially in the Henry County river bottoms. Above all else, he treasured spending time with his son.
Ronnie is survived by his son, Zachary (Stephanie) King; his mother, Charm King; brother, Danny (Paula) King; several nieces and nephews; other loving relatives and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald King; brother, Robert Lee King and nephew Michael King.

I just heard of Ronnie's passing, the last time I saw him is when my band played the wooden nickel in boundurant ia.quite a few years ago. He was a good man.r.i.p my friend.

Ronnie was such a great friend of mine back in the day. He was the leader of the pack. He and I did so many things together. We hadn't seen each other for over 25 years but his memory remains with me. Ronnie was light years ahead of us when we were young. I really don't know what to say. His birthday was 6 days after mine. I thought about him alot and running with " the pack". I can't even express my many memories of him.
