Deanna Myers

DeAnna L. Myers, 44, of Van Meter died of cancer on October 29, 2006 at her home in Van Meter. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Norwalk Cemetery.
DeAnna was born on August 1, 1962 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Wade Ross Rinehart and Elizabeth Ann Miller Rinehart. She graduated from Norwalk High School and graduated Suma Cum Laude from Simpson College. She was Senior Business Unit Controller for Weitz Construction where she had worked for 24 years and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed painting, reading and especially spending time with her daughters.
She is survived by her daughters Ashley and Paige of Van Meter, her father David Noland of Des Moines, her sister Julie (Alan) Scully of Garden City, Kansas, her Aunts Rosemary (Bob) Gaudette of Altoona, Doris (Merrill) Rosander of Truro, Ruth (Larry) Bishop of Freeport, Illinois, Joyce (Claud) Pettis of Des Moines and Janice Grooms of Des Moines, her Uncles Russel (Belinda) Rinehart of Altoona and Mike Noland of Norwalk as well as Bob, Mary (Jim) Myers, Tammy (Todd) Boldt, Jamie (Laura) Myers and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. The family will greet friends from 6-9 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa or the Iowa Society for Genealogy.
