Gregory Burkhead, age 63, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at his home. He was born the son of George and Beverly Burkhead on May 25, 1959 in Van Ness, California.

Greg loved NASCAR, college football, Fox News. He worked at Don’s Auto and Truck Salvage Yard for almost 30yrs.

He is lovingly survived by his wife of 34 years Kimberly Burkhead, his oldest daughter Meghan Sudak, his son Anthony and Bailey Maland, and youngest daughter Jamie Burkhead and John Gardner IV. Also 6 grandchildren.

Greg was preceded in death by his mother and father, Oldest son Jeffery Maland, his brother and grandparents.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2022 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
