Nancy Keser

Nancy J. Keser, age 85, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022.

Nancy was born November 13, 1936 in Burlington, Iowa to James and Elise (Basham) Jones.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and enjoyed keeping a loving home for her family. She happily took on the job of stay-at-home mom. When her husband, Paul, was diagnosed with a terminal illness, they decided to travel the world, soak up experiences and making lasting memories. They went from Australia to Asia, and everywhere in between. Nancy was a gourmet cook and loved to host dinners for her husband’s work associates. She was known for her “Groundhog Day Brunches”.

She is survived by her son, Paul (Syd) D. Keser, Jr.; daughter, Tonya Haynes; grandchildren, Ethan, Michael, Samantha, and Tre; and her brother, Russ Jones.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of over 40 years, Paul Keser, Sr.

According to Nancy’s wishes, there will be no public services held at this time.

Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Galesburg Symphony in honor of Nancy and Paul’s love of the arts.
