Vicky L. Faux

Vicky Lynn Faux, age 65, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with neuroendocrine lung cancer.

Vicky was born February 24, 1957 in Davenport, Iowa to Vern and Diana (Drechsler) Spring. She graduated from Pleasant Valley High School and went on to attend Faith Baptist Bible College. Vicky was an animal lover which led her to become a dog groomer. She also enjoyed caring for her chickens. In her free time, she enjoyed watching various television shows. The most important thing to Vicky was her faith in Jesus Christ and her family who she treasured spending time with.

She is survived by her husband, Chad Faux; son, Chad Freeborn; daughter, Nicole Freeborn; daughter-in-law, Britt Freeborn; son-in-law, William Hill; grandchildren, Zander, Rylie, Traven and Truen Freeborn, Jazmyne Boyles, and Baylee Freeborn; great-grandchild, Ashton Clark; mother, Diana Spring; sister, Carolyn Moore; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Vicky was preceded in death by her father, Vernon C. Spring.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
