Cole McBee
November 01, 2022
Cole Allen McBee, age 23, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Cole was born on August 26, 1999, to Kirk and Traci McBee. He graduated from North Polk High School and worked full-time in the automotive industry.
Cole was full of life and was always finding a new adventure or hobby to pursue. He was happiest with his countless number of project cars and riding or working on his motorcycles. He loved taking long rides with his friends and working on their bikes. He also cherished time with both of his grandfathers: Grandpa Steve helped to design custom pieces for his vehicles and Grandpa Kent taught him how to play guitar. He loved time with his family and was the first to lend a hand where needed. We loved his smile, his laugh, his long hugs and his knack for timing his visits just in time to join for a meal.
The family will hold a visitation for friends and family from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2022 and funeral services will be on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. The visitation and funeral will both be held at Saylorville Church in Des Moines. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
Cole is survived by his parents, Kirk and Traci McBee; siblings Dillon McBee and Morgan McBee; grandparents Rita McMullen and Steve and Judy McBee; great-grandmother Patricia Kuhns-Howell; uncle Gary (Marti Jo) McBee; great-aunt Robin (Tim) Kuhns-Cunningham; and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Kent McMullen, great-grandparents Thomas and Marge McBee; and great-aunt Roxanne Fox.
Memorial contributions may be made to Saylorville Church or the Iowa Donor Network.
