Poe Tu

Poe Tu, age 63, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Poe was born on January 1, 1959, in Ta Kren, Berma to Ba Thin and Daw Oho Khin.

Poe was a member of IDKBC Church in Des Moines. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching the news. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Say Say Paw; daughters, Paw Ta Su, Blu Moo, and Sarah Paw; and sons, Win Na Say and Bu Chut.

Poe was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Poe will be laid to rest at Glendale Cemetery.
