Eric Fletter Moon died on Sunday, Oct. 16 at the age of 57.
Eric is survived by his wife: Diana, his children: Chantel (Ryan), Brant, Ryan (Haley), T.J., Jacey, Aidan, and grandchildren: Ryker, Abel, and Holden.
He is preceded in death by his parents: James Sr. and Sheryl and brothers: James Jr. and Steven.
Eric was born in Des Moines on Nov. 1, 1964. After graduating from Roosevelt High School, he took on the family printing business, Moon Litho & Engraving. Eric was a family man with a heart of gold and treated everyone he met like family. In a crowded room, Eric had a way of making you feel that you were the only one that mattered.
He enjoyed cooking, working with his hands, telling jokes, and gardening, among many other passions. Eric’s laughter and unconditional love will be deeply missed.
A private burial service will be held on Friday, October 21.
A Celebration of Life will be held at DMFD-The Shop, 901 Cherry St., Des Moines on Friday, October 21 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

How I know Eric is always welcoming with a smile and positive conversation. We talked about cooking and had shared a lot of laughter with his jolly and good humored ways. Wishing Peace, Love and Happy memories to all of his family and friends.
