Scott, Marie and family, We were so saddened to hear about Blake. We have wonderful memories of him and you with the Johnston Swim Team. He was one of the more polite and kind swimmers on the team, and certainly, one of the better swimmers too! Bless each of you as you learn a new life with this great void. Thinking of each of you in the days and months ahead.

Blake was a great man and will be missed greatly. The news was a real shock as I had just met with him earlier in the week about Spero. Although we weren't the closest of friends, I really wish there was something I could've done as someone that was in his life. I feel deeply for the loss of Blake and for his family and fiance left behind. I'm praying for strength, grace and peace for all that are mourning the loss of this amazing being.
