Daniel Richard Render

Dan Richard Render, age 78 died on Saturday Oct 8th 2022 at Bishop Drumm Retirement Center. Among his survivors are his sisters Diane Render of Des Moines and Toni Gobble of State Center. Dan retired in 2006 from the Department of Inspections and Appeals as an administrative court judge.

In his free time Dan enjoyed working in his yard and sitting in his solarium reading the paper. For many years Dan would attend events at the fairgrounds. This would include the Iowa State Fair, book sales, as well as many antique shows where occasionally he would bring something home. Dan cared deeply for all animals and had many dogs and cats over the years. Dan enjoyed taking his dogs on long walks around Beaverdale and the Des Moines area.

Daniel will be laid to rest at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel, Iowa.
