Desmond Ray Hogbin 31, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday October 2, 2022, at his Home in Pleasant Hill, Iowa.

Desmond was born January 22, 1991 in Des Moines. He attended North High School and Scavo Alternative High School.

He enjoyed online gaming, fast cars, making money, and greatly enjoyed making people laugh. He liked to say things to people just for the shock value and to see if he could make us actually believe his stories. I think all of his close family and friends have been a victim of said stories at least once. He was a hard worker and very self sufficient. He has always lived his life on his terms without any fears. He will be so missed by all of us!

He is survived by his mother Debra Moore, stepfather Darryl Moore, brothers Marquice Hogbin, Charles Burkett (Elisha), sister Cassandra Burkett, uncles Steven and Robert Hogbin, two nephews and two nieces. He is also survived by his best friend and first and only love Melissa Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his father Chris Little and his grandparents Steve and Donna Hogbin with whom he was extremely close to.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on October 15th at Valley Junction Church of God, 321 Elm Street West Des Moines IA 50265 with a luncheon following the services at the church.
