Service Details

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved Mia Mable. Mia Mable Rae Fidler-Nguyen passed away on Friday September 30th, 2022, at University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics. She was 12 years young.

Mia was born on August 2nd, 2010 in Des Moines, Iowa. She transferred school districts from West Des Moines to Johnston in 2020 and most recently attended Summit Middle School, where she made many friends and memories. Mia enjoyed the outdoors; going camping and fishing regularly with her mom and step dad, Phi, riding her bicycle and going golfing with her Papa and Phi. She loved karate and making TikToks with her cousin, Bailey. Mia cared for her two dogs, Lucy & Blu, and three cats, Louie, Libby and Lenny. Mia loved all bright colors, purple being her favorite, which matched her personality perfectly as she was fun-loving, friendly, and caring. She had a smile that would light up a room and a passion for helping others. Her captivating and delightful presence will undoubtedly be cherished by many.

Words cannot adequately express the intensity of loss felt by her family and friends who loved her so deeply. She was truly a light in this world and will be sorely missed.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mom Hannah Fidler, step-dad Phi Nguyen, granny & papa Kris and Doug Fidler.
