Janis was born the daughter of Edward and Felma Glaser on November 9, 1938 in Alta Vista, Iowa. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Edward Dillon and Chuck Bach. Also, her brother-in-law Jim Bach.

Janis was employed by TWA Airlines for 20 years. After marrying Chuck, they owned several successful businesses together until retirement. After retirement, they enjoyed golfing and traveling to Arizona for their annual winter trip. They were blessed with many friends and family along the way.

Janis was an extremely brave woman with strong catholic faith who overcame the death of her first husband and health problems. She never gave up, had a grateful heart and always a smile on her face.

Janis was a very organized person who enjoyed “ripping the rug up” on the dance floor, gardening, nature, playing Mahjong with her friends, showing hackney ponies and playing cards. If there was a puzzle on the table, she would not get up until it was finished.
Most of all Janis had a fierce love for her children but she adored and spoiled her grandchildren more! Family was very important to her.

She is survived by her sons, Scott Dillon (Barbara) and Steve Dillon (Roseanna); daughters, Shelle McCartney (Bob) and Kelle Harvey (Brian); brother, Brian Glaser (Jeannette); sister, Kathy Bach; 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister- in- law Darlene Fini and her husband’s 6 children and their families. Many cousins, nieces and nephews will remember her kind heart and loving spirit. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all.

Memorial donations can be made to Special Olympics as this was organization was close to her heart.
