Steven Michael Zimmerman

Steven Zimmerman, 63, passed away October 1, 2022 at Panora Specialty Care in Panora, Iowa.

Steven was born November 6, 1959 in Des Moines to Mike and Mary Lu Zimmerman. He graduated from Van Meter. Steven enjoyed listening to music and hanging out with friends. He loved making money shoveling driveways in the winter and mowing lawns in the summer. Steven lived a full and happy life despite his disabilities.

He is survived by his sister, Linda brothers, Chris and Danny nephews Nic, Zac, Tyler, Travis and their families Savannah, Shawn, Jaxon and Wyatt. Host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Scott.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Glendale Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association, the National Scoliosis Foundation or the Cerebral Palsy Foundation in loving memory of Steven.
