Mary Ann Fallis, 83, passed away on October 1, 2022, at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. She was born in Creston, Iowa, on March 31, 1939, the daughter of Lew and Cleona Lamb.
Mary Ann loved scrapbooking and dogs, especially her dog, Holly. She always enjoyed poking fun at people and joking around.
Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Terrie Baumgart (Chuck); grandchildren, James Smith (Paige), Ryan Smith, Chris Long, Alysson Knipe (Bryan), Alex Baumgart, Kelly Baumgart; great-grandchildren, Renzley Smith, Laylah Smith, Brayden Knipe, Ashton Knipe, Bennett Knipe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Fallis; and daughter, Sherry Lacey.
A memorial visitation will be from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., in Des Moines.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Mary Ann.

So sorry to hear about Mary. I knew Mary from Kennybrook. I used to visit with her in the Dining Hall. My sis is a resident there.
