Bonnie "Sue" Kinney

Bonnie “Sue” Kinney, 67, passed away September 27, 2022, at her home.

Bonnie was born July 28, 1955, in Des Moines, Iowa to Ritzen and Marjorie (West) Launsdale.

She truly loved her family and spending time with them. She enjoyed crafting and was good at it. She loved cats and over the years had many of them as pets.

Long story short she loved music, beer, and cleaning houses.

Bonnie is survived by her son, Michael (Amy) Davis; grandchildren, Daniel and Aidan Davis; siblings, David Miller, Maggie “Sis” Deeds, Jack Launsdale, Kay (Mike) Deeds, Jean Phipps, Rose (Ernie) Carter, Maude “Coke” (Billy) Grear, and “Uncle” Dan Launsdale; stepdaughters, Missy and Tina; and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Skip Kalar; brothers, Ritzen “Mike” White and Charlie Launsdale.

Her wishes were to keep things simple – “there will be no horse and pony show” as Bonnie “Sue” would say.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa in loving memory of Bonnie.
