Linda Sorenson

Linda Sorenson, 71, passed away at her home on September 20, 2022.

Linda was born May 12, 1951, in Petoskey, Michigan to Don and Ermine (Clements) Herrington. She later moved to Des Moines Iowa where she was a Patient Care Tech for Unity Point for many years. Linda enjoyed the Iowa State fair, walking her dog Heidi and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved all things Michigan and looking at lighthouses.

Linda is survived by her son, John Sorenson, and her daughter, Lee (Barry) Potter; and grandchildren, Emily Sorenson and Lincoln Potter; siblings, Regina Immoos, Donna Medows, Donovan Herrington, and Max Herrington; and dog Heidi.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Per her request, no services are planned and a private spreading of her cremated remains will be held at the scattering garden at Glendale Cemetery and at Lake Michigan at a later date.
