Phyllis worked at the YMCA in Ankeny for years and I "supervised" her. She was such fun to be around... I can still hear her saying "Oh, Sue.." when I teased her about something. Her friendly spirit and fun personality will be missed.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Phyllis' passing. She was so full of enthusiasm for life. She had a wonderful sense of humor. All that knew her are blessed and better for the experience. She wanted more than anything to have a family that was her own and she found that through Mosaic and Pricila.

I met Phyllis in 2003 while working for Martin Luther Homes. Phyllis enbaraced life and always had a hearty hug for friends. Phyllis had a fabulous sense of humor and enjoyed teasing others making those around her laugh. I will always remember her as being full of mischief and ready for anything that came her way. Phyllis really knew what enjoying life was all about. She taught others that life was too short and that we need to get out there and enjoy it. She was always joy to be with and will be deeply missed.
