Cheryl Joyce Strait, age 74, was born May 8, 1948, and passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Cheryl had a magnetic personality and was very memorable. She liked to enjoy an ice cold beer and loved her dog, Lucky. She never liked attention drawn to herself.

She is survived by Jimmy, Jonny and Terry, and many nieces and nephews.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents Stanley (Stush) & Ann Burnisky, brothers Gary, Stush and Lance.
