Robert P. Cooper of Des Moines, IA, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022. He was born April 19, 1941 in Las Vegas, NV, to Cleave & Margaret Cooper.

Bob graduated from Dixie High School in St. George, Utah. He later served 2 years in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles. He then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and began working at General Tire & Firestone Tire until he retired in 2003, and shortly after moved to Veyo, Utah. Bob loved camping & fishing in Cedar Mountain, and watching NFL football while he ironed the clothes.

He is survived by his son Corey Cooper (Tammy Moore) of Des Moines, IA; his grandchildren Aubrey Spilsbury of Boise, Idaho, Dallas Cooper of Seattle, Washington, and Caleb Cooper of Des Moines, Iowa; and his great-grandson Gus of Boise, Idaho.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Cleave & Margaret Cooper; and his sister Barbara Randall.

Robert was a good friend. He and I were dance partners in PE often because i was short and so was he. Yes he was a good dancer. So sorry about his passing.We were updated about him often. May the Lord's blessings be with you his family through this difficult time.
