Helen Ann Andrews

Helen Ann Andrews was born to Kenneth and Eunice (Wisecup) Clark on April 12, 1949. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

Helen graduated from Des Moines Tech in 1967 and the University of Iowa in 1972. She practiced her public health nursing career in Des Moines, IA, Seattle, WA, and Tucson, AZ. She married Charles Andrews in 1985 and they later divorced. Helen retired in 1986 and moved back to Des Moines in 2004.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Eunice Clark. She is survived by her two sisters, Patricia Breckenridge and Kerrie (Steve) Valentine, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 8, 2022, at Hope Lutheran Church, 3857 E. 42nd Street in Des Moines, where the family will receive visitors one hour prior to service time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the family.
