Kimberly Johnson

Kimberly Sue Johnson,51, was taken from us far too soon on Friday, July 29, 2022.

Kimberly was born on December 30, 1971 in Des Moines, Iowa, To Shirley Ruge and Charles “Joe” “Jiggy” Johnson. Her Life motto was “IT IS WHAT IT IS” “IT WAS WHAT IT WAS”. She loved being the life of the party and being with her boys she also loved being a grandmother between her boys and grandchildren they were her pride and joy Kimberly enjoyed riding whenever the opportunity came. She was a very outgoing person and always up for an adventure. She will always be remembered for her spunky energy and her obnoxious laugh, if you knew her, you could tell she was near once you heard that laugh.

Kimberly will be greatly missed by her mother, Shirley Ruge, Stepfather Gary Ruge, Her sons Johnathon (Chrystal), Jeremy, Austin (Haley) Grandchildren, Josiah, Haven, Joseph, Ariea, and Dallas. Sibling, Joe & Julie Johnson, Danny (Lauren) Johnson, Cousins, Shannon Johnson, Savannah (Steven) Freeman and Cassie (Dustin) Deterding and many more family and friends

She was preceded in death by her father Charles Joe “Jiggy” Johnson and her son Vincent Quang, Uncles Ricki Johnson, and Donny Cameron, Dennis Sexton.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
