Roy was my favorite Worthington. I had the pleasure of knowing him during his young years. I'm not sure how it happened but while we were 15, maybe 16 Roy and I became pretty good friends. He spent a lot of time at my house with me and my sister when my mother was sick in the hospital . My mother was gone for 6 months and he was there helping with home repairs and yard work I'm just hanging out and watching TV.. what I remember most, I can even see it in my head was his smile and the sound of his laugh. We laughed a lot he was super funny, he was genuine and true. Good soul. I'm grateful that I can call Roy my friend.
