Ramona Groenhoff, 85, was born January 18, 1937. She passed away on July 27, 2022 in Des Moines. She was the daughter of Charles and Bertha (Espeland) Ranger.
Ramona was an Avon Representative for almost 40 years, she loved cats, hummingbirds and fishing. Above all else she treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Ramona is survived by her daughter, Ginger (Paul) Peterson; son, David (Beth) Groenhoff, Jr.; grandchildren, Jacob (Tammy) Peterson, David (Jesmond) Groenhoff III and Shelby (Camryn) Groenhoff; great grandchildren, Paul Peterson, David “Danny” Groenhoff IV and Luke Peterson; special niece, Kathy Wilson; brother, Romaine Ranger along with other loving relatives and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, David Groenhoff, Sr.; parents, Charles and Bertha Ranger and her sisters, Doris Girouex and Phyllis Gorman.
Services will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 12:00PM at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00PM. Burial will take place at Berwick Cemetery, Berwick, Iowa.

I went to many Avon meetings with Ramona, she was such a fun person. So sorry for your loss.

I never met Mrs. Groenhoff personally, but her daughter Ginger was my closest friend, so I was always privileged to hear about Moms adventures. She was a very interesting lady and lived life on her terms, and we should all be this lucky! God Bless You Mom!❤
