Judith Breese

Judith Kay Breese, age 79, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

Judith was born December 11, 1942 in Iowa City, Iowa to Paul and Frances (Abrams) Fincher. She has been a resident of the Des Moines area for most of her life. She enjoyed puzzles, reading, and playing cards.

She is survived by her children, Randy Crooks (Michele) and Julie Crooks; siblings, Ann Shaver and Mary Lee Banfield; grandchildren, Amanda, Blake, Lisa, Savannah, and Devan; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jaidyn, Amaya, Austyn, Levi, and Ryker; and a host of other extended family and friends.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Frances Fincher; husband, Aaron “Rocky” Breese; son, Gregory Crooks; and brother, Larry Fincher.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Des Moines.
