Bonnie May Ligouri Stahl, age 90, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022.

Bonnie was born May 27, 1932 in Des Moines, Iowa to Vincenzo “James” and Bertha (Bennett) Ligouri. She has been a resident of the Des Moines area her entire life.

She was united in marriage to Walter Roy Stahl on December 4, 1948. They were married for 62 years until his passing in 2010. Bonnie had worked at Younkers, the Franklin Hotel, and Preferred Risk for 20 years. Her true calling and passion was as an antiques dealer.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Cupp; grandsons, Michael (Julie) Cupp and Brandon Cupp; granddaughters, Angela (Rob Stringer) Cupp and Amanda Stahl; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Devin, Vincent, Conner, Carsen, Caleb and Clara Cupp, Cameron Lint, Liberty Kimmel, Jaylen Cooper, Carmine Kennedy, Makenna Mastin and Katie Stahl; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and her fur baby, Little Guy.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Stahl; parents, James and Bertha Ligouri; brothers, Fred and Vincent Ligouri; son-in-law, Charles Cupp; grandson, Jon Stahl; grandparents, Amos and Millie (Cromwell) Bennett, and Tomas “Thomas” and Giuditta “Julia” Ligouri; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and fur babies.

There will be a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2022 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
