Sara Lynn Sabba Sale

Sara Lynn Sale (Sabba) or as her niece and nephews called her, Aunt Sasa, 52, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Des Moines, Iowa on July 25, 2022 from complications of COVID-19.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines, IA.

Sara was born April 7, 1970 in Des Moines, IA to Gwendolynn (Davis) and David Lidstrom. She graduated from Hoover High School and then attended AIB and the University of Phoenix. She married, Paul Sale and to this union was born, Rylee Fae Sale.

Sara worked for Land Home Mortgage as a Mortgage Underwriter. Sara loved everyone and was truly a great soul. She loved to joke and have fun. Sara loved nothing more than being a mother to Rylee and was a wonderful aunt to her niece and nephews. She had a great laugh and a beautiful smile. She was a great singer with a beautiful voice. In her spare time, Sara was a fan of puzzles, watching game shows, the Minnesota Vikings, and playing Candy Crush.

She is survived by her daughter, Rylee; her brothers, Erik Lidstrom and Christiaan Lidstrom; sisters-in-law, Dedrie and Kelly; niece, Brittainy; nephews, Nathanial, Collin, Spencer and Max; and great-nieces, Ari and Ava.
