Colleen Edwards

Colleen “Coco” Sue Edwards, age 57, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 at her home in Des Moines.

Coco was born March 27, 1965 in Des Moines, Iowa to James and Sandra Stout. She grew up in Des Moines before marrying her loving husband Craig on March 26th, 1996. They have been together for over 36 wonderful years. For the majority of their married life they lived in California but found their way back to their roots in Des Moines.

Coco was a loving and devoted mother. She has always been a very hard worker and would do anything her family needed. Coco was also an avid knitter. One of her favorite projects was to knit a blanket for any newborn in her family. Colleen, “Coco”, was loved by many and will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her husband, Craig; children, Sara Stout, Amanda Edwards, and Anthony Edwards; 8 loving grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and her brother Rick Stout.

Colleen is proceeded in death by her parents James and Sandra Stout and her siblings Jim, Steve, and Marrene Stout.
