Doris Beehler

Doris Ruth Beehler, age 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Regency Care Center in Norwalk with her family by her side.

Doris was born August 18, 1934 on the Southside of Des Moines to James and Loretta (Kimball) Jenkins. She was one of 13 children. She enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, and going to the casinos. Her favorite treat was salt water taffy.

She is survived by her children, Gary Beehler (Kelly), Melody Beehler Diaz, and David (Brenda) Beehler; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Beehler; son-in-law, Frank Beehler; more than 25 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Beehler; son, Charles Beehler; daughter, Robin Beehler; parents, James and Loretta Jenkins; and all of her siblings.

Private family burial will be held at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.
