Ronald G. Wheeler

Ronald Gene Wheeler, age 63, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022.
Ron was born December 7, 1958 in Des Moines, Iowa to Lawrence and Mildred (Guile) Wheeler.
He attended Lincoln High School and proudly served in the United States Army.
He looked forward to his corn stand every year on Euclid. He loved the people he met and enjoyed seeing them year after year when they would stop by. He was a bilingual translator on the movie set of the Titanic. This would lead him to his starring role in the Titanic. He was quick witted and always made people laugh.
He was preceded in death by parents Millie and Larry Wheeler, and his niece Cassandra Vargus.
Ron is survived by his sisters Sheree Wheeler, Lisa (Jack) McNeeley, Christine (John) Hoskins; his brothers Mark Wheeler, Matt (Raynee) Wheeler; a daughter Taja Dockery; and three grandchildren Phoenix, Griffin, and Madison.
A private family viewing will be held on Saturday, July 23rd, followed by cremation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Please check back for more details.

So sorry for your loss. I met Ron in high school at Dowling Catholic high school. Then several years later he was an awesome wait staff at Winstons in the skywalk mall. My prayers are with you during this time of bereavement.

I was so sad to hear about Ron. He was so kind to me over the years and I valued his friendship. Ron always made me laugh and offered sound advice whenever I needed it. Im going to miss him. You all certainly do have my condolences.
