Rosalie "Cindy" Campbell

Rosalie (Cindy) Regina Campbell, 85, went to be with her heavenly Father on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Taylor House Hospice, Des Moines, IA. She was surrounded by her loved ones. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th St. SW. with the funeral service to begin at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Franklin Township Cemetery.

Cindy was born on June 15, 1937, in Fergus Falls, MN and married Joseph Campbell on July 3, 1958. She loved children and worked at the Bondurant-Farrar school as a paraprofessional. She was a member of the Bondurant American Legion Auxiliary. She always rooted for the underdog and loved animals and nature. Cindy had a special love for her entire family!

Cindy is survived by her children Joseph (Carol) Campbell of Williston, ND, David (Shannon) Campbell of Lafayette, IN, Tammy Campbell (David Paige) of Bondurant, IA, Kimberly (Campbell) Cady of Bondurant, IA; her brothers Bernard (Jim) Krusel of Des Moines, IA and Benedict (Dick) Krusel of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada; grandchildren, Andrew, Brandon, Anthony, Jeremiah (Alexis), Kaitlynn, Daniel, and Nikki.

Cindy was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Joseph, her parents Anthony and Veronica Krusel, brothers Anthony (Tom) and Benjamin and sisters Mary, Josephine, and Ann.
