of Montezuma, Iowa
Jesse Finch, age 75, passed away at his home on Thursday, July 7, 2022. He was born the son of Herman and Darlene Finch on January 16, 1947 in Moline, Illinois.
Jesse proudly served his country in the US Air Force as a crew chief on C-141s during the Viet Nam conflict, exiting the service in April 1968. He married Linda Tousley in May of 1968 and they made their lives in Osceola, Iowa where they raised their three children. Jesse worked for the State of Iowa for 26 years as a communications/electrical engineer and then served in the private industry in communications until retiring in 2009.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving children and grandchildren Jeannette (Dustin) Owens-Finch (Cole, Rowan) of Irving, TX, Sonya (Jeff) Morrison-Finch (Dane, Ty) of Sergeant Bluff, IA, Jared Finch (Hannah) of Des Moines, IA. His sister Patricia (Charles) Denniston (Jeffrey and Tawnya) of Prospect, PA, niece Dina of Carlsbad, CA, friend Patricia Carlson of Moline, IL, plus many other extended family and friends.
Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Randy, and his beloved wife Linda (Tousley) Finch.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, August 8, 2022 at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel.

Jesse and Linda were good neighbors. I spoke with him about 2 weeks before his death and be l believed what he said.

My dear nieces and nephews, I loved Jesse, and my sister,Linda,very much, and will always miss their love, kindness, smiles and beautiful laughter. Im so grateful that God made us family, for the blessings have been many, and the love, priceless. Im sorry for your hardships and loss, and I pray your hearts will heal with time. I love you all, and you are in my constant thoughts and prayers.
