Joel’s gift of life will continue on as a donor to the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics to give students the opportunity to understand the complexities of the human body, and in this way, provide an opportunity to help advance medicine and the care of others suffering with health problems.

The University of Iowa conducts an annual memorial service commemorating donors in the fall of each year.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Suncrest Hospice in honor of the compassionate care they showed to Joel.
