Glen Stout

Glen A. Stout, age 88, passed away in Des Moines on June 30, 2022. He was born on November 24, 1933, in Seymour, Iowa, to Eddie and Mary Stout.

Glen proudly served in the United States Army from 1953-1955. Following his active military service, he transferred to Army Reserve for an additional eight years.

Glen is survived by his loving wife, Ruth Stout; son, Carl (Vicki) Stout and daughter, Rose Beeson; grandson, Joe (Mindy) Stout; granddaughter, Bobbie Stout; four great-grandchildren, Alex, Hayden, Tyler and Cali; as well as other loving family and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings.

The family will receive visitors at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home on Friday, July 8, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A graveside service with military honors will be held at Jerome Cemetery on Saturday, July 9, at 12:00 p.m.
