Glenda Lee Bennett
of Des Moines, Iowa

Glenda Bennett, age 67, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 28, 2022, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. She was born the daughter of Edward and Lenore (Olcott) Hyde on September 30, 1954, in Des Moines, Iowa.

Glenda enjoyed working for Link Associates for many years. She loved needlepoint, working on puzzles, collecting hummingbird figurines and salt & pepper shakers. Glenda loved her family very fervently, more than life itself and will be deeply missed.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband Bob Bennett, son Ryan (Jennifer) Eddis, step-children Mario Bennett and Angela Bennett, grandchildren Aiden Eddis, Liam Eddis, and Ella Bennett-Fuder, brother Richard Hyde, sister Margie (David) Jones, numerous nieces & nephews, and other loving relatives & many special friends.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents and brother Ed Hyde.

Celebration of Life will be held at 12 pm, Sunday, July 17, 2022, at North Park in Carlisle.
