Dewey D. Burrows passed away peacefully at his home in Des Moines on June 24, 2022. He was born in Lisbon, Iowa on December 2, 1936. He joined the Army in 1956 after graduation.
Dewey married Helen L. Burrows in 1961 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and eventually they moved to the Des Moines area.
Dewey is survived by his children, Sheila Burrows of Des Moines, David (Desiree) Burrows of Indianola; brother LeRoy (Irene); niece Debbie Burrows of Omaha, NE; and several grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen, of 58 years; siblings, Mary Keegan, Leona Cozart, Ellen Egan, Evelyn Yaus, Ralph Burrows Jr., and Bobby Keegan; and parents, Ralph and Charlotte Burrows.

Prayers for peace and healing for the family. Dewey was always kind to me, my daughter and his grandchildren. Very sad to say goodbye, so I will not. So happy he is with his wife now. They can both look over the family and help with guidance. I know they would not want us to be sad and to move on with our lives. Till we meet again 😇

Sorry for your loss so happy to hear you guys had a good Father's Day recently though prayers that you would be comforted by our heavenly Father
