Dennis Brown

Dennis Eugene Brown, age 75, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Fleur Heights Center for Wellness and Rehab in Des Moines, Iowa.

Dennis was born December 22, 1946 to Eugene and Mabel Brown in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Dennis loved the Lord Jesus Christ and lived in anticipation of his return. He took great comfort in the Lord’s call to salvation and enjoyed sharing the message of eternal life and the forgiveness of sin to all he knew. Dennis was a member of First Federated Church.

Dennis was employed as a part-time hand binder at Christian Printers from 1986 to 2015. Dennis also had a can route, walking 10 to 15 miles per day, and collecting more than $90,000 in recycling deposits. He enjoyed bowling and carried as high as a 176 pin average. He also loved word search books.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Julie Brown, and nieces, Sara Brown and Amanda Brown of Oak Creek, Wisconsin.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gary Brown.

A memorial service will be held in honor of Dennis on Thursday June 30th 2022 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home in Des Moines Iowa (605 Lyon Street) at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will take place one hour prior to service time.
