Donna Jetter, 76, passed away on June 18, 2022, at The Bridges of Ankeny. She was born in Des Moines on June 4, 1946, the daughter of Ronald and Evelyn Nicolle.

Donna loved everything to do with animals. When she was little, anything that moved was considered a pet from baby rabbits to horses. Dogs, cats, turtles and snakes were always finding a place in her heart.

She had a huge heart – and just like her heart blooming with love so did her talent for arranging flowers. Donna had a very caring soul and would do anything for anyone. She had a sweet spirit and a strong will. Her soft heart could capture the simplicities of life and enjoy nature.

Donna supported Canine Craze and her son’s endeavors with dog training.

Donna is survived by her son, Tony (Diane) Jetter; grandsons, Benjamin and Austin Jetter; sisters, Karen (Gary) Elliott and Carolyn Dyke; many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Scott; sister, Janet Johannes; brothers-in-law, Jerry Dyke and Lowell Johannes.

Memorial visitation will be Monday, June 27, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines, with a 12:30 p.m. graveside service to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery.
