Robert William Kirkpatrick
Of Des Moines, Iowa
Bob Kirkpatrick, age 81, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022. He was born April 8, 1941 in Des Moines, Iowa to Augusta Burk & Floyd Kirkpatrick.
Bob worked for the City of Des Moines as a gravedigger before he started his own gravedigging business. He was extremely hard working and put everything into his work. He was proud to have passed his business on to his son-in-law.

Above everything, he loved his family and treasured time spent with them.
He is survived by his children Diane (John) Stefani, Debbie (Ed) Smith, Bob Kirkpatrick, and Dawn (Josh) Speer, grandchildren Ashley (Steve) Nuzum, Duncan (Mary) Smith, Robert Kirkpatrick III, Ryan (Cristina) Stefani, Jessica Smith, Josh (Kaitlyn) Kirkpatrick, Nick (Miranda) Stefani, Emma Smith, Carsen Speer, Erin & Evan Speer; 14 great-grandchildren; and former spouse, Judy Kirkpatrick.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Viola Burk & Floyd Kirkpatrick, siblings Floyd Taber, Harold Taber, Helen Osborn, and Kenny Kirkpatrick, first wife Joan Kirkpatrick, grandson Tyler Smith, and his beloved dog Maggie.

So sorry to hear about Uncle Bob's passing! He was always such a nice guy to me when ever I was around him and he tried to help with my Mom after my Dad passed. I will always remember his big smile and great laugh!
God Bless his family and especially the remaining Bob Kirkpatrick (keep in touch cousin)!!
