William Allen

William “Master Bob” Allen, age 30, left this life much too soon on Sunday, June 19, 2022. He was born on November 28, 1991, in Des Moines, Iowa.

William graduated from Indianola High School in 2010. He was known as a nerd at heart and a jokester, always bringing humor and joy to any situation. William loved music and going to concerts. The happiest memories of William’s life were marrying his wife, Tia on October 8, 2016, and the day his beautiful daughter, Amara was born on February 13, 2019. William will be missed by many and forgotten by none.

He is survived by his loving wife Tia Allen; daughter Amara Allen, parents Paul and Bridget Allen, sister Leigh Allen, like-a-brother Jacob Smith, grandparents Elaine Dodd and Judy Allen, and a host of extended family & friends.

William was preceded in death by his grandfather Billy Dodd, and grandma Karen Dodd.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 27, 2022 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 28th, also at the funeral home. A luncheon will be held immediately after the funeral service at the American Legion Hall, 105 W 1st Ave Indianola, IA 50125 provided by friends and family from Simpson College.
