Jackie Wheeler

Jackie Wheeler, 60, passed away June 10, 2022, at Unity Point Des Moines Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

Jackie was born April 10, 1962, in Des Moines to Arch and Doris (Nehring) Wheeler. She was a manager at Taco John’s, where she had worked for over 40 years. Jackie enjoyed traveling, shopping, and cooking. She loved spending time with her family and friends and she adored ladybugs.

Jackie is survived by her daughters, Debbie Chambers, Katie (Jeremy) Wheeler, and her children, Devin and Preston, and Andrea (Mike) Brown and her children, Malea, Maryah, and Michal; siblings, Dusty Lerado, Richard Wheeler, Dorothy Wheeler and her son, Kenny Wheeler, Mary Robb and her children, Trudie, David, Bill and Jay Robb, Connie (Bob) Riley and her children, Colton, Robert (Joanna) and James Riley and James Wesley Rankin, and Emery (Karen) Wheeler and his children, Jeremy, Chris, and Colby Wheeler; and a host of extended family and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Kenneth, Eldon, and Cheryl Wheeler.

The family will greet friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
